AQUARION WATER COMPANY SELECTS WIND LAKE SOLUTIONS FOR GIS WORK ORDER POSTING SERVICES
Wind Lake Solutions, Inc., (WLS) Mukwonago, Wisconsin announced that Aquarion Water Company has awarded WLS a contract to perform water system work order posting. Under the contract, WLS will be responsible for posting backlogged work orders to Aquarion's water distribution GIS. WLS will place water mains, valves and hydrants using as-built sketches and GPS data and establish links between GIS data and work order drawing and sketch images. The project will be completed remotely at WLS' Wisconsin production facility using Aquarion Water's ESRI ArcGIS tools and ESRI's "disconnected editing" data transfer methodology.
